COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE (REV 18:4)
Leaven and apostasy is devastating to the church, devastating to families, devastating to individuals, devastating to one's witness, and devastating to the name of Jesus.
Leaven happens when there is no adherence to sound doctrine in both works and deeds. In 1 Corinthians chapter 5, we see the impact of leaven through the abundance of the flesh (sex, alcohol, extortion, etc). The remedy is for remnant believers to separate themselves from the leaven.
Apostasy is the result of no adherence to sound doctrine in heart and mind. When flesh leads to leaven, and leaven leads to idolatry, apostasy is the inevitable result. The apostate twists the Scriptures to align with Satan, the world, and the flesh. Presuming to be clean, the apostate soul is in fact defiled.
Leaven and apostasy is spread in several ways. It is the work of Satan along with lying wonders in preparation for the coming of the antichrist. Satan has servants who present themselves as ministers of righteousness, but they are wicked messengers who present other spirits, other gospels, and other christs. With no obedience to sound doctrine in heart, in mind, in works, in deeds, and without faithful shepherds, leaven and apostasy spreads like wildfire. It is a sign of the end.
Carnal pastors attempt to address carnality through heavy forms of church governance which cannot be done. This too, is a sign of the end.
Spiritual war cannot be fought or won through carnal means. Tender care is required for pastors to shepherd God's people in truth and in Spirit while also understanding various levels of growth, while also exercising mercy and grace, while also striving for Biblical love feast, while also fervently praying for the saints, while also being aware of the internal and external threats, while also adhering to sound doctrine, and while also protecting the flock from wolves and the roaming lions.
The end result of leaven and apostasy is judgement. Our Lord refers to 'times of sorrows' and 'perilous times' for a reason. Falling away is prophesied. It is devastating and heartbreaking to witness, and yet God is long-suffering not willing that any should perish. Saints must exercise Biblical wisdom in these last days.
Be a Berean. Search and study the Scriptures with a noble heart. And abide in Christ.
Many pastors in these last days have corrupted themselves. They are unfaithful to the Word, they are hirelings, they've transitioned into wickedness, they have become predators, and they have become wolves. These disqualified pastors have great prevalence in the last days. Do not submit yourself to them. The rot of disqualified pastors spreads into the fellowship. If you Scripturally discern that your pastor is found wanting, you are in danger and your fellowship is not safe.
Do not submit yourself to the disqualified shepherd. They will be judged. In loyalty to Jesus alone, you must leave. Tell the faithful saints and bring them with you. Leave together with a remnant and fellowship as one.
Pray and seek the Lord in finding a church home. It will come with great difficulty, but the Lord has faithful shepherds around the world where you will find sound doctrine, love, peace, joy, strength, the Spirit, gifts of the Spirit, and beautiful love-feast in accordance to the Word of God. Look for holy fruit in Biblical authenticity which cannot be faked.
If you cannot find a church that is Biblically safe and Biblically sound, continue to pray and seek the Lord's guidance on having a home fellowship. This ministry was created specifically for remnant saints of the last days who fellowship in homes around the world.
BIBLE PASSAGE: But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust. (1 Timothy 1:8-11)
BIBLE PASSAGE: Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. (1 Timothy 4:16)
BIBLE PASSAGE: Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. (Romans 16:17-18)
BIBLE PASSAGE: And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)
